Notice of Rectification Work on Certain Fuji Xerox Multifunction Devices

Fuji Xerox Philippines, Inc. (Fuji Xerox) wishes to inform its customers that isolated incidences of fire have occurred on the ApeosPort-V / DocuCentre-V digital multifunction device series designed for use at rated voltage 220-240V. Investigations revealed that these incidents were caused by excess voltage supplied to the device. This incident has not occurred in the Philippine market.

Fuji Xerox takes the above incidents very seriously and to minimize any re-occurrence of the incident, however remote, Fuji Xerox shall provide safety measures to the affected models* identified below. This rectification work shall be provided free of charge, as per the details below.

If you are using any of the affected models* listed below, please kindly contact Fuji Xerox. You will find our phone number / email address below. We have determined that the same models (ApeosPort-V/DocuCentre -V Series) at rated voltage 100V-115V are not at risk due to the use of different components. 

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue.  Fuji Xerox will continue in its efforts and responsibility to ensure quality in our products and services so that such issues do not reoccur.

The following models in the ApeosPort-V/DocuCentre-V Series (designed for use at 220-240V)
Fuji Xerox ApeosPort-V / DocuCentre-V C2275/C2276/C3373/C3374/C3375/C3376/C4475/C4476/

2. Period for the work
Fuji Xerox will begin providing the rectification from August 1, 2017. Our representatives will follow-up with you about the timing.

3. Required time
Work to implement the safety rectification on the model should take approximately 30 minutes per machine.
