A touch to authenticate Users no longer requires an ID or password to access the multifunction device or printer. Authentication is done when the IC Card Reader scans the card held in front of it. IC Card Reader supports proximity cards frequently used as employee ID cards or admission cards such as MIFARE, and FeliCa. IC Card Reader also allows combined use of multiple card formats. Most importantly, IC Card Reader can set priorities Reading Areas on Proximity Card
Restriction can be set so that only IC card authenticated users can use the multifunction device. This prevents information leaks to those unauthorised users without IC cards
