Password Encryption
ApeosPort-II multifunction devices ensure high-level security for scanning operations by locking down scanned documents and severely restricting their distribution via a host of features used singly or in tandem.
PKI Encryption – Signature required
With highly secure PKI Encryption, a device certificate is required for scanning, distributing, opening and printing documents saved in PDF and XDW formats both inside and outside the network. PKI Encryption also allows documents to be distributed via S/MIME and SSL.
Destination Restriction
With this security feature, scanned documents can only be distributed to entries registered in the address book. In addition, control panel functions for entering and adding destinations can be disabled.
