FUJI XEROX ASIA PACIFIC LAUNCHES ONLINE RESOURCE HUB FOR DIRECT MARKETING PRACTITIONERS

Tools available at Fuji Xerox Transpromo and 1:1 Direct Marketing website include interactive simulator, Promo space calculator and DM ROI planner

Asia Pacific, April 13, 2010 – Fuji Xerox a leading provider of solutions, services and software that enable enterprises to make optimal use of their knowledge assets, today launched Fuji Xerox TransPromo and 1:1 Direct Marketing, an online resource hub for direct marketing professionals and service providers.

Located at www.fujixerox-transpromo.com in the Web and free to use, the community website is targeted at practitioners of 1:1 marketing and TransPromo
communications. An increasingly popular innovation in direct marketing, TransPromo involves embedding relevant targeted advertising or promotional messages in the white spaces in transactional documents (statements, invoices, bills, policies, etc.).

“The discipline of direct marketing is ever-evolving and practitioners need to constantly retool themselves. Using the resources available at Fuji Xerox TransPromo, they can now discover, learn and experience new approaches for communicating with their customers, planning targeted campaigns and initiatives, improving operational and cost efficiency, and growing the business,” said Helene Blanchette, Go-to-Market Strategy Manager, International Business Group, Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific.

Among the resources at Fuji Xerox TransPromo are an online assessment tool that marketers can use to gauge their organisation’s preparedness for adopting the TransPromo marketing approach, and a drag-and-drop simulator for generating TransPromo documents using customer attributes (gender, marital status, etc.). Another, exclusive to service provider clients of Fuji Xerox and Xerox, is a promo space calculator for analysing the value of and production costs related to the available TransPromo white space dedicated to advertisements on an invoice, statement or other transactional document. The website also features compelling case studies of customers who have successfully applied 1:1 or TransPromo marketing. Tangible results are shared for numerous industries in the world, including cases in Asia Pacific.

Also available at Fuji-Xerox TransPromo is Profit Quick DM ROI Planner, a downloadable direct marketing planner that marketers and service providers can use to compare campaigns and evaluate risk, and to project and demonstrate the complete ROI of a direct marketing campaign or program.

Available in six languages – English, Korean, Thai, Japanese, simplified and traditional Chinese –  DM ROI Planner has already been deployed by Fuji Xerox operating companies and is now in use in more than 160 countries. A soft launch of the website saw the DM ROI Planner being downloaded by more than 500 corporations, advertising and creative agencies, and other service providers from Singapore, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, the United States, and other countries during a four-week period.

“Today, marketing is about making the right offer to the right people at the right time. Customers expect relevancy and not mass marketing. We are in the age of mass market of ‘One’! With the resources that we’ve made available on the new Fuji Xerox TransPromo and 1:1 Direct Marketing website, businesses and their service providers can now transform ‘high eyeball share’ transactional documents into marketing opportunities, at the same time strengthening the relationship with each customer, enhancing brand equity, and making the most use of their marketing dollars and customer data,” said Ms. Blanchette.
