Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Honoured with Bronze Award at the 8th Pearl Awards Ceremony in New York City

TWINS Campaign received recognition for Best Integrated Print and Web Program

Singapore, November 9, 2011 – Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific received Bronze Award for the Fuji Xerox TWINS Campaign - ‘Spot the Difference’, for Best Integrated Print and Web Program at the 2011 Global Pearl Awards.  The ceremony was held on November 7 at Guastavino's in New York City.

The TWINS Campaign ‘Spot the Difference’ was a B2B Campaign deployed in April throughout Asia Pacific.  The campaign incorporates dynamic print on the 16-page Marketing 101 magazine, which was customised and personalised to each of the readers, and personal URL addresses where readers can access uniquely customized websites.  A total of six communication channels were used to complete the integrated cross-media experience such as print, customised websites and electronic direct mailers (EDM).  The campaign reached out to marketers and agencies to highlight the significance of approaching every customer as a distinct individual - even identical twins, who share the same genetic makeup, possess different personalities.

The TWINS campaign received more-than-expected responses and attracted the interest of top-executives of companies to finally reach an 18.7% unique customer response rate, as well as a high reference viral rate of 72%.
“It is a prestigious honour for the Twins Campaign to be awarded the Global Pearl Bronze award, among the ranks of some of the reputable brands and key players in the publishing industry,” says Hélène Blanchette, Head of the 1:1 Experience, International Business Group, Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific.  “For an Asian company like Fuji Xerox to receive such an award reflects on the dynamism and innovation that the new world is thriving on and our continuous commitment in pushing the boundaries in custom publishing.”

Organised by the Custom Content Council, the Pearl Awards was established in 2004 to herald the commitment to excellence and the growing success of custom publishing.  The award recognises excellence in journalism, graphic design and publication packaging, the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies built around custom content and the creative use of digital media through these awards.

This year, the 8th installment of the Global Pearl Awards received a record number of 638 entries from 14 countries, and 41 major categories and executives from 47 companies were honoured at the 2011 Pearl Awards Ceremony. Entries including magazines, newsletters, websites, blogs and videos were judged simultaneously in three different markets across the United States: New York, Washington D.C. and San Francisco.  Entries feature creative publishing works for clients from various industries namely tourism, travel, technology, automotive, health and retail.
